Errors in retrieving web pages: What you can do

Web hosting at Indiana University has changed over time. In particular, older URLs which contained the tilde character (~) no longer work, and redirects from those older URLs are no longer supported on IU web servers.

404: Not Found

You may be able to retrieve the file by modifying the URL. For example, since the older https://www.indiana.edu/~tedfrick/... no longer works, you could try the newer https://tedfrick.sitehost.iu.edu/... The account name (tedfrick) that was preceded by the ~ now becomes the prefix to sitehost.iu.edu. The rest of the URL should remain unchanged.

Alternatively, you can now view many files at this archival site (on educational systems theory). These files have been moved from Sitehost.

403: Forbidden

These 403 errors will occur for web visitors who do not have Indiana University credentials for authorization. This is by design. These files are restricted to IU students, faculty, and staff.
